Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, brand name and email address, plus any optional product category, target quantity and project details you choose to provide. The enquiry record also keeps the browser-reported optional-measurement choice, consent version and browser choice time, together with the server receipt time. We also process limited browser, device, IP and request information for site delivery, security, spam prevention and diagnostics. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the enquiry record; short-lived hashed identifiers are used for rate limiting and duplicate prevention.
Advertising measurement and campaign data
Only after you accept optional measurement, we load the Google tag and may record the page where measurement was accepted, referrer, UTM campaign fields and Google click identifiers such as GCLID, WBRAID or GBRAID with an enquiry. If you move to another page before accepting, the earlier page and its campaign parameters are not retained by us. Google may receive the page URL, IP address, browser or device information and interaction data for advertising measurement. We do not enable advertising personalisation or Enhanced Conversions on this site.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to respond, assess a project, prepare quotations and take steps toward a contract. We use limited technical information to operate and protect the site, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Optional advertising measurement is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie Settings.
Service providers and sharing
Cloudflare provides hosting, security and Turnstile verification. Google Workspace sends enquiry notifications and confirmations. Google Ads receives measurement data only after consent. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Our team operates from China, while technology providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Where applicable law requires it, we use the transfer safeguards made available by our providers and take proportionate steps to protect transferred information.
How long we keep information
Active enquiry and business records are kept while reasonably needed for the relationship, quotations, contracts, disputes and legal duties. An enquiry that is both archived and more than 730 days old from its creation date becomes eligible for deletion when the enquiry manager next runs its cleanup. Rate-limit identifiers stop being effective after about 10 minutes, duplicate-submission identifiers after 24 hours and the one-time success token after 10 minutes; expired security records are removed during later cleanup. Your browser stores a Cookie choice for up to 12 months. Google controls the lifetime of any Google measurement technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive your personal information, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. Email maisie@metrodress.co to make a request; we may need to verify your identity. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. UK residents may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Required information and automated decisions
The enquiry form marks name, brand name and email as required because we cannot review or answer the request without them. Other project details are optional. We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections, request validation, anti-abuse controls and restricted administrative access. No internet service is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the free-text project field.
Children and policy changes
Metrodress is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
